Every campaign deliverable needs a clear finish line, but not every piece of content needs the same approval process. brandmay.studio gives you two paths: Quick mode for straightforward delivery tracking and Review mode for versioned brand feedback and approval.
The mode changes the steps shown inside that deliverable. It does not create a second campaign, change the agreed scope, or affect the other deliverables in the campaign.
The short answer
Use Quick mode when the brand does not need to review inside brandmay.studio. Upload the content for your own record, add the live link or proof after posting, and mark the deliverable complete.
Use Review mode when you need to send a draft, collect comments, upload revisions, or record which version the brand approved.
| Choose Quick mode when | Choose Review mode when |
|---|---|
| Approval happens in WhatsApp, email, or a call | The brand should comment through a secure review link |
| The content can be posted without formal approval | Posting requires an explicit approval |
| You mainly need due date, proof, and completion tracking | You expect V1, V2, or further revisions |
| The deliverable is simple or already agreed | You need a reliable record of feedback and decisions |
How Quick mode works
Quick mode keeps the workflow intentionally short:
- Open the deliverable.
- Upload the content if you want the draft stored with the campaign.
- Publish the content on the agreed platform.
- Add the live post URL, screenshot, or other proof.
- Mark the deliverable done.
Quick mode does not create a brand review conversation. A file uploaded here can still help you keep campaign material together, but the brand will not receive an in-product feedback request merely because the file exists.
Choose this path for deliverables such as a Story that was approved in a call, an event appearance that only needs proof, or content where the brand explicitly said no pre-approval was required.
How Review mode works
Review mode adds the steps needed for a clear handoff between creator and brand:
- Upload the first draft.
- Publish the correct draft version for review.
- Create a secure review link.
- Share the link with the intended brand reviewer.
- Read comments or a request for changes.
- Upload and publish the next version when required.
- Confirm which version the brand approved.
- Post the content, add proof, and finish the deliverable.
Uploading and publishing are separate actions. An upload can remain private while you check it. Publishing makes that version the current draft on the review link.
Comments, requests for changes, and approvals remain attached to the version they concern. Approving V2 does not retroactively approve V1, and uploading V3 does not erase the earlier conversation.
What the brand sees
In Quick mode, brandmay.studio does not create a review workspace for the deliverable. You can still communicate and obtain approval elsewhere, then record the outcome through your proof and completion steps.
In Review mode, the brand receives a secure review page containing the latest published version. Depending on the campaign connection, the reviewer can continue as a guest or use a connected brand workspace. They can leave comments, request changes, or approve the latest version.
The brand sees published review versions. Files you upload while preparing the content remain private until you publish them for review.
Can you switch later?
Yes. You can begin in Quick mode and turn on Review mode when a brand asks to see the draft. A draft already uploaded to the deliverable can become the starting point for review.
You can also return to Quick mode while no active review link exists. Once a review link is active, Quick mode is unavailable because removing the review workflow would make the shared feedback and approval history unclear. Revoke or finish the active review process deliberately instead of trying to hide it by changing modes.
Switching one deliverable does not switch every deliverable in the campaign. For example, a campaign can use Review mode for an Instagram Reel and Quick mode for three Stories that only require posting proof.
A practical example
Imagine the fictional Nova Glow campaign contains three deliverables:
- one Instagram Reel requiring script and edit approval;
- two Instagram Stories approved from the campaign brief;
- one event appearance requiring an attendance photo.
The Reel belongs in Review mode because the creator and brand may exchange V1 and V2 before approval. The Stories and event appearance can remain in Quick mode because their next meaningful step is proof, not an in-product review conversation.
The campaign still shows overall progress across all four deliverables.
What to do when you are unsure
Ask one question: Does the brand need to comment on or approve a specific file before I publish it?
If yes, use Review mode. If no, start with Quick mode. You can turn on Review later before sharing a review link.
Avoid using Review mode merely because it has more steps. Extra process is only useful when it protects the approval handoff.
Review mode checklist
- The correct deliverable is open
- The latest upload is the version you intend to publish for review
- The recipient email belongs to the intended brand reviewer
- The passcode and expiry match the sensitivity and timing of the work
- Earlier feedback has been addressed before publishing a revision
- The approved version is identified before the content goes live
